Chocolate Surprise Pie

 

Want to try a desert that is packed with protein? Hard to believe but its true… Chocolate and tofu together can be quiet a surprisingly delicious and nutritious combination. A splurge through the holidays that won’t make your waistline bulge and bloat. Please let me know what you think.

Ingredients  

 1 bag organic semi sweet chocolate chips
    1 block tofu   
    1/4 cup strongly brewed black coffee (Jamaican Blue Mountain and Cafe Du Monde are my favorites.)
    1-2 tablespoons vanilla flavoring
    1 graham cracker pie crust
    1 QT fresh, organic strawberries,  sliced

 Directions

1. Melt chocolate chips on the stove in a sauce pan.

2.  Blend together tofu, chocolate chips, coffee, and vanilla.

3. Pour into graham cracker crust.

4. Chill 1-2 hours in the freezer.

5. Garnish with fresh, organic strawberries when serving.
