Hearty Pancakes

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nothing starts out the morning right on a cool fall day like a warm, hearty pancake breakfast. Good balanced breakfast is a great way to start your day. Listed below is one of my favorite, nutritious pancake recipes.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg beater
1 cup almond milk (Use the non-dairy milk of your choice)
1 cup multi-grain flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons stevia

Pam No-Stick Cooking Spray

Directions:

1. Mix wet ingredients in a medium sized bowl.  Mix dry ingredients in a larger bowl.

2. Pour wet ingredients into dry; mix well until smooth consistency.

3. Coat the pre-heated pan with  Pam No-Stick Cooking Spray .

4. Place a ladle full of the pancake mixture  onto medium heat, preheated pan.  Flip over when each pancake begins to bubble on top.

Serve with vegan butter and locally made, organic maple syrup, if desired.
