Two hundred pounds in each hand, and you did twelve wraps you two doing? Oh, my gosh. You’re so you’re laying flat on your back and your and your doing process cheese. What’s that feel like? It was like, Wait, what? I lightweight. I was with Bill Cast mire once, and he he rolled a pan in front of me. You know, one of those pens have never seen that stuff.
[00:00:46] Ronnie Coleman: I’ve seen that. Yeah, of course I met beyond asking you to do that, too. Good friend of my really good friend. Yeah.
[00:00:56] Dr. Nick: So what inspires Irani? I mean, you’ve been in this field. You’re a police officer, crack
[00:01:00] Ronnie Coleman: fifteen years. Uh, you know what with having, uh, but mostly it’s a hobby. Something I’ve been doing that was twelve years old. I don’t know with it. And, uh, been doing that ever since ever since. You know, a lot of people get turns out, I was like, Do like fishing and hunting where mine is bodybuilding. They’re lifting weights. Wow.
[00:01:25] Dr. Nick: I heard you’ve been off six months. But did I also hear you have a children? Yeah, I have a girl. Ah, they keep you in line
[00:01:35] Ronnie Coleman: very much so Very much so. Yeah, I have. Ah. Thirty three. Thirty two. What? Yeah. I haven’t sat between that. Are between of in June. I have Ah, three. I mean, a four, five, six and eight year old. The
[00:01:54] Dr. Nick: youngest is six.
[00:01:55] Ronnie Coleman: The youngest before Oh,
[00:01:57] Dr. Nick: my gosh. By different ladies.
[00:02:00] Ronnie Coleman: Yeah, Yeah. Three different, uh, girl through three different women. And I also have a grand Your baby, Your grandpa? Yeah. Yeah. Have before you uh grand baby, She’s girl also.
[00:02:15] Dr. Nick: Ah, have a grandpa too. I turned sixty five this year. How younger you may I’LL be
[00:02:22] Ronnie Coleman: fifty five in May. Tremendous young.
[00:02:29] Dr. Nick: So you tell Signor athletes like myself and others because I’m I’m approaching sixty five this year and I correspond for six twenty six thousand positions around the world who worked with a lot of senior athletes. Tell us, what would you recommend?
[00:02:44] Ronnie Coleman: Uh, first and foremost, I always recommend a good diet and good government so that that’s the key to having a good diet also. And then ah, really safe workout plan. Something that you could do do three to four times a week. What
[00:03:03] Dr. Nick: would you define this safe? I heard those words clearly. Clearly. You’ve gone through twelve surgeries. It’s a little tough. Yeah, I don’t
[00:03:09] Ronnie Coleman: find it some way that you could do for, like, fifteen, twenty rips. So, of course I can do, uh, six hundred on the bench for, uh, fifteen twenty. So I would do something that I pick a way that I could do fifteen and twenty reps and stick with it.
[00:03:30] Dr. Nick: Do you think you can build quality muscle even though I know you were revered for doing heavy weight, Maybe low reps. So what you’re recommending now? In retrospect, do you think you could have built the figure that physique that you have?
[00:03:42] Ronnie Coleman: I’m not doing fifteen to twenty. No, I had to do a lot of every week. But once I’ve built all that now do fifteen. Twenty.
[00:03:54] Dr. Nick: Is that what you do now?
[00:03:55] Ronnie Coleman: Yes. What I do now? Yeah. Yeah, actually,
[00:03:57] Dr. Nick: everything. Can you do me a bicep shot for me? Just Yeah. Haven’t worked. Look at that. Oh, my God.
[00:04:08] Ronnie Coleman: I want no training. Yeah. So hopefully about another two months, I’ll be able to resume training and get back in the gym and do what I love doing the most. Have
[00:04:18] Dr. Nick: you looked into doing some event treatments? Such a stem cells, natural biological hormone support just different
[00:04:25] Ronnie Coleman: things. Right now, we’re ready to go toe meet the guy who does acupuncture. Okay. Yeah, And I heard that works really well on, uh, actually, I’ve experienced that I had it done in the past. Work Well, so that’s my next move.
[00:04:43] Dr. Nick: Some people are talking about using CBD for inflammation and pain. Have you ever tried it?
[00:04:47] Ronnie Coleman: I’m doing it now. My doctor just gave me a bottle last week when I went to the office. So Yeah, I’m I’m now on the CBD. All right now I need my full of day, I think
[00:05:02] Dr. Nick: Nice. When you’re stepping up, you’re doing what
[00:05:05] Ronnie Coleman: you do. Yeah, I’m doing whatever it takes way to live a long, healthy life, doing what he thinks.
[00:05:13] Dr. Nick: Ronnie Coleman. What is it you do to prepare your mind? Use affirmations, hypnosis, and he kind of work to really get your mind prepared for the incredible battles that you succeeded with.
[00:05:26] Ronnie Coleman: Um, I really don’t do anything besides concentration for your heart and focus really hard. And keep my mind on what? Whatever it is I’m doing. So it’s just a lot of focus and concentration. Simple stuff.
[00:05:43] Dr. Nick: What do you see for your future? What’s an extra Ronnie Coleman
[00:05:46] Ronnie Coleman: right now trying to get back, uh, walking unassisted And that, uh, my major go My major goal. And I know you are, baby. Do it

[00:07:20] Ronnie Coleman: saying the same thing? I just I got bored with lightweight on Just came up with a number of things. Yeah, Bull with that came out a year, buddy,
[00:07:30] Dr. Nick: I love it. So you are using a mind process to tell Yu always those big weight?
[00:07:36] Ronnie Coleman: Yeah. Focus and concentration.
